Pool Volume Calculator
Calculate the volume of your pool in gallons or liters
Calculating Volume for Swimming Pools
Knowing the size of your pool is important for chemical application and maintenance. We take the guesswork out of this pool volumetric conversion calculation.
Guidelines and Procedures
Choose the shape of your pool.
Use the Dropdown option and select either a rectangle, circle, or oval pool.
Indicate the dimensions of your pool.
Pool Geometry determines the different Input fields that the Calculator displays:
• Rectangle: Length, Width, and Average Depth
• Circle: Diameter and Average Depth
• Oval: Length, Width, and Average Depth
Which Unit Do You Prefer
Decide whether the volume should be in gallons or litres.
Choose “Calculate Volume”
The Calculator will tell you how much the pool fills with water.
How Do You Improve the Accuracy of Your Measurements?
To compute the average depth of a pool, add the depth of the shallow end to the depth of the deep end, and divide that number by two.
As much as possible, try to use feet.
In-ground pools are most rectangular in shape, so if you are not sure of the shape of your pool for any reason, that’s the shape you should use.
Why the Size of Your Pool is Important
The proper addition of chlorine, pH, and other chemicals has to be made in a proper overbalanced.
Determining the complexities of the chemical balance and the appropriate pump size.
Planning the addition of new water.
Our sophisticated Calculator eases the burden of mathematical work and provides reasoned and exact solutions. This will serve to assist any pool owner, regardless of whether they are inexperienced or seasoned in the disruptions of pool maintenance.
Note
This Calculator is designed to provide a rough approximation if your pool is irregular in shape or has any prominent steps and benches, the given values will need to be modified.
